RxC and
TxC
RxC and
TxC
56 kbit/s of overhead is used to
transport RxC and TxC from HSS
DTE to HSS DCE.
This is the preferred dual external
clock system.
Both clocks travel in the same
direction from DTE to DCE. This
mode is used when it is important
that the externally supplied RxC and
TxC are maintained independently.
This is almost only required in
cascaded (that is, multi-link)
networks.
This mode cannot be used in
conjunction with any interface
conversion to / from X.21.
