Handlebars
To suit various riding positions, the handlebars
can be adjusted by turning the handlebar holders
around.
•
Remove the handlebar pad.
•
Check the handlebars for bent or crack.
•
Remove the handlebar clamp bolts, the clamps
and the handlebars.

Remove the handlebar holder nuts, and turn the
handlebar holders 180°.

Put the handlebars on the handlebar holders.
•
Replace the handlebar holder nuts with new ones.
•
Tighten the new handlebar holder nuts securely.
Tightening Torque
Handlebar Holder Nuts:
34 N·m (3.5 kgf·m, 25 ft·lb)
•
Mount the handlebar clamps.
•
Check that the gauge on the handlebars is out of
the left and right handlebar clamps equally.
•
Tighten the front and rear bolts of the handlebar
clamps equally. If the handlebar clamps are cor-
rectly installed, there will be even gap on the front
and rear side of the clamp after the bolts torqued.
