Purpose
Used to disable STP on the Switch.
Syntax disable
stp
Description
This command allows the Spanning Tree
Protocol to be disabled on the Switch.
Parameters
None.

Description
This command is used to setup the Spanning Tree
Protocol (STP) for the entire Switch.
Parameters
maxage

redundant paths in the network, preventing the effective
propagation of the new information. Set by the Root
