Chapter 3 Troubleshooting
116-321 System Soft Failure
[Detection Conditions]
Due to an error during the software processing, the
subsequent processes cannot be performed.
[Actions]
Turn the power On/Off and perform the following if
the problem persists.
(1) Perform re-installation of the ESS software.
(2) Replace the ESS PWB (PL13.1).
116-323 ESS NVRAM W/R Check FAILURE
[Detection Conditions]
An error was detected at the W/R check of the NVM
in the ESS PWB.
[Actions]
Turn the power On/Off and perform the following if
the problem persists.
Replace the ESS PWB (PL13.1).
116-324 Exception Failure
[Detection Conditions]
CPU exceptional error has occurred.
[Actions]
Turn the power On/Off and perform the following if
the problem persists.
Replace the ESS PWB (PL13.1).
116-325 ESS FAN FAILURE
[Detection Conditions]
The ESS FAN revolution failure
has occurred.
[Actions]
Turn the power On/Off and perform the following if
the problem persists.
(1) Replace the ESS FAN (PL13.1).
(2) Replace the ESS PWB (PL13.1).
116-326 ESS ROM DIMM #1 Flash Failure
[Detection Conditions]
A failure was detected in the ESS ROM DIMM #1
Flash.
[Actions]
Turn the power On/Off and perform the following if
the problem persists.
(1) Pull out and insert the ESS ROM DIMM #1.
(2) Replace the ESS ROM DIMM #1.
116-327 ESS ROM DIMM #2 Flash Failure
[Detection Conditions]
A failure was detected in the ESS ROM DIMM #2
Flash.
[Actions]
Turn the power On/Off and perform the following if
the problem persists.
(1) Pull out and insert the ESS ROM DIMM #2.
(2) Replace the ESS ROM DIMM #2.
116-328 L2 Cache Failure
[Detection Conditions]
A L2 Cache failure was detected.
[Actions]
Turn the power On/Off and perform the following if
the problem persists.
(1) Replace the ESS PWB (PL13.1).
116-329 Serial I/F Soft Failure
[Detection Conditions]
The system call error related to the serial I/F was
detected.
[Actions]
This code is not supposed to occur.
116-330 HDD File System Failure
[Detection Conditions]
The system detected that the an error has occurred or
the HDD was not formatted during HDD check at
power On.
[Actions]
Turn the power On/Off and perform the following if
the problem persists.
(1) Run the HDD Diag (DC355).
(2) Replace the HDD (PL13.1).
(3) Replace the ESS PWB (PL13.1).
116-332 Invalid Log Info
[Detection Conditions]
A failure related to log was
detected.
[Actions]
Turn the power On/Off and perform the following if
the problem persists.
(1) After removing the HDD and turning the power On/
Off, install the HDD again and turn the power On.
(2) Run the HDD Diag (DC355).
(3) Replace the ESS PWB (PL13.1).
116-333 LocalTalk Soft Failure
[Detection Conditions]
Due to an error during the software processing, the
subsequent processes cannot be performed.
[Actions]
Turn the power On/Off and perform the following if
the problem persists.
(1) Perform re-installation of the ESS software.
(2) Replace the ESS PWB (PL13.1).
116-335 MFIO HDD Failure
[Detection Conditions]
HD failure to be detected by MFIO
[Actions]
Take actions by following the procedure below.
(1) Set up the HDD.
(2) Replace the HDD (PL13.1).
(3) Replace the ESS Board (PL13.1).
