alignment of the module's notch with the one in the socket. Then re-install the
module.
6. Make sure the locking clips at either end of the module click closed. If the
brackets do not secure themselves to the module, carefully remove the module,
then reinstall it.
7. Replace the front panel.
See “Replacing the Front Panel” on page 125.
8. Replace the right side door.
See “Replacing the Right Side Door” on page 124.
Note: The amount of installed memory will be automatically
detected by the system.
9. Check that the memory is installed correctly. To do so:
■ Boot the system.
■ Press TAB to remove the logo screen, and press Pause immediately.
■ Check that the memory is described as “dual channel”. If this is not the
case, re-install the memory, paying special attention to the following
chapters:
“Specifications” on page 247
and
“Memory Configuration” on
page 24.
