POSTSCRIPT EMULATION
A. Changing the emulation from XES to PostScript
This example shows you how to change the current printer
emulation from the default, XES, to POSTSCRIPT.

Press the Online button to take the printer off line.
Press the Menu button to access the Main Menu.
Press the Last Page button until the display reads EMULATION.
Press the Test button to display the available emulation headings. The display reads XES*.
Press the Last Page button until the display reads POSTSCRIPT.
Press the Select button to select POSTSCRIPT as the current emulation. An asterisk appears
next to your selection.
Press the Online button to put the printer back online. POSTSCRIPT* is the current emulation,
in place until a command to change emulations is received, the emulation is changed using
this menu, the printer is reset, or the printer is switched off.
To save POSTSCRIPT as the default emulation:
Press the Online button to take the printer off line.
Press the Reset button to access the Reset Menu. The display reads EMULATION RESET.
Press the Last Page button until the display reads SAVE DEFAULTS.
Press the Select button to select the option.
Press the Online button to put the printer back online.
To reset XES as the default emulation:
Press the Online button to take the printer off line.
Press the Reset button to access the Reset Menu. The display reads EMULATION RESET.
Go back into the menu and select XES.
Press the Select button to select the option.
Press the Online button to put the printer back online.
