Emergency Stop
If a situation requires an immediate shutdown of all printer activity, press the Emergency
Stop. To recover from an emergency shutdown, resolve the problem that prompted the
shutdown and then release the Emergency Stop by twisting it slightly counterclockwise.
Then, if prompted, press the ACCEPT button to restart the printer.
Anytime a Emergency Stop is pressed, the lamps, the carriage and gantry and all other
moving parts are disabled, effectively stopping all printer activity.
The following table shows what happens when the Emergency Stop is pressed.
When a door is opened (interlock triggered) - UV lamps are always turned off:
Note:
There are three Emergency Stops, one on the control panel and one on each
end of the gantry. When you need an immediate shutdown, it is also possible
to open the one of the gantry doors to initiate an interlock shutdown.
Note:
For safety, lamp power is always disabled when a door is open. Printing is
not possible with lamps off (doors open).
