(START) button.
Scanning starts.
For the USB Connection
An image that is scanned with this machine is sent to a computer via a USB cable. You can display the image on the specified
application, save the image in the specified folder, or start a fax transmission application.
1.
Press [Scan] or the
(SCAN) button.
The touch panel display switches to the scan top screen.
Memo
To display the home screen, press the
(HOME) button.

Set a document in the ADF or on the document glass.

Press [Scan To Computer].
If the Network TWAIN function is set to [OFF], proceed to step 6.

Press [Select A Connecting PC].

Press [From USB Interface].

Press [Select An Application].

If you select [Application], the application specified by ActKey, which associates with the file type starts, and the scanned
document is displayed in the application.
If you select [Folder], the scanned document is saved in the specified folder.
If you select [PC-FAX], a fax transmission application starts. After transmitting the scanned image, transmit a fax with the
fax transmission software on your computer.
7.
Select a destination.
Memo
If using Mac OS X, even though [Application] or [PC-FAX] is selected, the operation proceeds in the same way as when [Folder]
is selected.

Press the
(START) button.
Scanning starts.
