Note:
Because the QMS 2060 WX Print System uses Microsoft
printer drivers and other resources, it works differently than a QMS
Crown print system. Be sure to read this and the previous section,
“Optimizing Printing,” for special information on media feed direction
and orientation.
Portrait-Oriented and Landscape-Oriented
Printer Output
The direction in which media is loaded in the printer affects the orien-
tation of the printed image.

Portrait-oriented printer output
If the image on the printed media is identical to the direction of
the media coming out of the printer, the orientation of the image is
defined as portrait.

Landscape-oriented printer output
If the image on the printed media is 90 ° from the direction of the
media coming out of the printer, the orientation of the image is
defined as landscape.
In other words,

Portrait on SEF = Landscape on LEF
(Text/image printed on vertical media)

Portrait on LEF = Landscape on SEF
(Text/image printed on horizontal media)
