Procedures for Data Assignment Using CLI

Log in to a Controller via telnet.
Initial settings in the Controller are as follows:
IP address:192.168.100.10
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Assign suitable network settings to PC, and activate Command Prompt. Type
telnet 192.168.100.10
to connect to the WL Controller.
The following message appears and asks you to input a user name and a
password. At initial setting, user name (
nec
) and password (
nec
) are assigned.
Type those ones in the prompt.
Note.
You must specify PC’s network environment to be in the same subnet with WL
Controller. For example:
IP address: 192.168.100.11
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

Enter Administrative Access Mode.
Type
enable
command to enter Administrative Access Mode. A message
prompt you to enter a password; however, no password is specified at the
initial setting. Type no letter and press the Enter key. The next prompt will be
changed to pound sign (#), indicating you are in Administrative Access Mode.
