l
Make sure that length of cables (10Base-T/100Base-TX/1000Base-T)
between WL Controller and equipment is less than 100 meters/328`1ft.
l
When mounting WL Controller into a rack, you need to check the
following:
m
When mounting a single WL Controller into a rack, put it in the
lowest level.
m
If other equipment are mounted in the rack, put heavier equipment in
the lower level.
m
If safety equipment such as rack mount brackets are attached on the
rack, fix the Controller with them, and then mount it into a rack. Or
keep the other equipment in order for safety purposes.
l
WL Controller requires ground connection. Do not turn on the power
without connecting earth conductor properly. If you do not know the
proper connection, ask an electric engineer or inspection organization.
l
Do not place WL Controller in the following places. If you store WL
Controller in the following places, it might leads to faulty operations.
m
Do not store it in a place subject to corrosive gas, chemicals or splash
of chemicals (such as source of sulfur vapor)
m
Do not store it in a place where carpet without antistatic finish is laid.
m
Do not store it in a place which might be affected by drop of a object
m
Do not store it in a place where power cables and interface cables
might be affected by tread or pulling.
m
Do not store it in a place where power cable must be connected to an
inlet shared with earthing wire of other equipment, specially
equipment requiring high power.
m
Do not store it in a place which might causes power noise (such as
contact points spark used to turn on/off at the relay of commercial
power supply). If you will store WL Controller in the place, you have
to contact a distributor to separate the cables and/or mount noise
filter.
