Specify Voice Session Reserve Time for moving out of RF range (Voice
Extension Function).
If no respond occurs between a terminal and a Controller, and a certain period
of time defined as active-call-idle-timeout elapses, the Controller releases
VoIP bandwidth. Type
set service-profile {Service Profile Name}
active-call-idle-timeout {Second}.
The following is an example when active-call-idle-timeout (

When CAC is specified on a bandwidth basis
Reserve available bandwidth per voice client. AP Radio do not allow any new
client to associate with it until enough resource to handle the call will be
reserved. To perform this function, you also need to assign the related data
described in step 34 and step 35 (Voice Extension Function). Type
set
service-profile {Service Profile Name} cac-mode voice-extension to enable
Voice Extension function (bandwidth-basis CAC mode)
.
The following is an example when Voice Extension function of Service
Profile (

) is enabled in the command.

When CAC is specified on a session basis
Specify the maximum number of active sessions per ESSID (Radio’s ID). AP
Radio does not allow any new client to connect to the ESSID until required
session is released. Using this function will make IEEE802.11b Extension
Function (Fast HO) invalid. Type
set service-profile {Service Profile Name}
cac-mode session
to enable session-basis CAC mode.
The following is an example when session-basis CAC mode (Voice Extension
function) of Service Profile (
