Default Tones
The default settings for Supervisory Monitoring are as follows:
Using Silent-Monitor
Mode
Use Silent-Monitor mode in order to enter a conversation in progress.
There is one feature code, 425, associated with the Supervisory
Monitoring feature. This feature code can be mapped to a button with an
LED or a button without an LED.
1 Press the programmable access button mapped to Silent Monitor, or press
the Feature button and use the keypad to enter the Feature Code (425)
for Silent Monitor.
The NBX system prompts for the ACD or hunt group extension.
2 Enter the extension, then press either the OK menu option or “#” key, as
appropriate.
The NBX system verifies the ACD or hunt group extension, then prompts
for the group password.
3 Enter the group password, then press either the OK menu option or “#”
key, as appropriate.

If password or the ACD extension is invalid, the LCD shows an
error message and allows you to reenter the password/extension
combination.

If password and the ACD extension are valid, the LCD prompts for
the extension number of the agent.
4 Enter the agent’s extension, then press either the OK menu option or “#”
key, as appropriate.

If the extension number is valid, the NBX system plays a tone.
■
If the extension number is invalid, the NBX system shows an error
message and allows you to reenter the extension number.
