Switch-on distance (m)
Switch-on distance
refers to the switch-on distance (
[A]) relating to
the field border (
[C]). At this position in the field, the metering slides
start to open. This distance depends on the type of fertiliser and represents the
ideal switch-on distance for optimised fertiliser distribution.

[C] Field border
If the switch-on position in the field is to be changed, the
switch-on distance
has
to be adjusted.
A lower distance value means that the switch-on position is closer to the field
border.
A greater value means that the switch on position is closer to the centre of the
field.
