Configuring Async Port Records
Once the necessary Node, Line Processor, and protocol parameters have been con-
figured, press
[A]
at the Port Configuration Menu (or
[A], [C], [A]
from the Main Menu.
When prompted, enter:

containing the port:

The display for an existing port will show the configured parameter values, while the
display for a new port will show default database values. (See
Table 12-3
on page 12-

If a record does not exist for the async PAD profile identified by
Initial
Profile Name

will be displayed preceding the name in the
Database
column.
After making any changes, be sure to press
[F7]
to update the
system memory. Otherwise, the changes will not take effect until
the next re-boot of the FRM.
Pressing
[J], [K], [M]

will display more parameters, listed in
Table 12-3
(on
page 12-9). Pressing
[L]
will display the async PAD profile parameters (listed earlier
in this chapter) that are resident in the FRM software.
