List Commands
list pppoe
The list pppoe command shows information about PPPoE interfaces, service
names, and sessions. It has the following parameters:
bindings
service_names
sessions
These parameters are described in the following table.
list virtual connections
Lists all of the PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE) connections coming into the
OfficeConnect Gateway as well as tunneled connections such as PPTP. This
command exists in addition to the
list tunnel connections
command which only
displays the virtual connections made by PPTP.
Parameter
Description
max_sessions
The maximum number of PPPoE connections that may be initiated
concurrently to the OfficeConnect Gateway by all hosts combined.
max_sessions_per_host The maximum number of PPPoE connections that may be initiated
concurrently by a single host to the OfficeConnect Gateway. This
helps to limit the Denial of Service attacks on the OfficeConnect
Gateway.
Parameter
Description
bindings
This lists all the interfaces where PPPoE has been enabled and the status.
service_names
The service name is typically the name of the ISP or any QOS
parameters.
Presently the service names are just strings with no QOS significance
attached. The client may send a service name as a NULL string indicating
that any service is acceptable in which case no service names need to be
configured in the OfficeConnect Gateway. If the client request contains
a non-null service name in the request, then the same name has to be
configured in the OfficeConnect Gateway.
sessions
This command lists all of the existing PPPoE sessions and their peer
addresses in the concentrator.
