Edit Command
edit
The OfficeConnect Gateway’s text editor,
edit
is similar to UNIX Version 7’s edit
facility with some subtle differences. Its purpose is similar - to perform simple line
editing of files, including filter files.
The
edit
command Edit is available via Console Telnet. It works best when
displayed on an ANSI terminal since it employs escape sequences defined for the
ANSI terminal type to clear screens and display menus. To access Help for this
command, type a question mark (
?
) at the colon prompt (
:
).
