Configuring a Filter for a User
set user
input_filter
output_filter
Use this command string to configure an input or output filter for a specific user.
For example:
set user nancy input_filter filter.flt
Filters take effect for a user the
next
time that user makes a connection. Also, you
must set filter access
on
to filter for a user. See next section.
Setting Filter Access
When filters are assigned to
both
the interface and the user, you
must
enable
filter access
.
set interface
filter_access ON
Use this command to set the filter access parameter ON for a specific interface.
set interface
filter_access OFF
Use this command to set the filter access parameter OFF for a specific interface.
Filter file changes take effect on an interface immediately when you issue the
set
interface
command.
