HAZARD AVOIDANCE
Displaying traffic on the Traffic Map Page:
1)
Turn the large
FMS
Knob to select the Map Page Group.
2)
Turn the small
FMS
Knob to select the second rectangular page icon.
3)
Confirm the TAS unit is in Operating Mode:

Select an altitude volume for which to display traffic.
a)
Select the
ALT MODE
Softkey.
b)
Select the desired altitude display volume (refer to figure 6-69):
•
BELOW
- Displays only traffic within +2,700 ft to −9,000 ft altitude of requesting aircraft
•
NORMAL
- Displays only traffic within ± 2,700 ft altitude of requesting aircraft
•
ABOVE
- Displays only traffic within −2,700 ft to +9,000 ft altitude of requesting aircraft
•
UNREST
- Displays all detected traffic
OR

a)
Press the
MENU
Key.
b)
Select the desired altitude display volume and press the
ENT
Key.
•
‘Below’
- Displays only traffic within +2,700 ft to −9,000 ft altitude of requesting aircraft
•
‘Normal’ - Displays only traffic within ± 2,700 ft altitude of requesting aircraft
•
‘Above’
- Displays only traffic within −2,700 ft to +9,000 ft altitude of requesting aircraft
•
‘Unrestricted’ - Displays all detected traffic
