Using the Operator Panel
You can set the length of idle time before entering Power Save mode.
Longer idle time before entering Power Save mode may reduce the time taken to start the printing.
If the set time data is not received, Power Save mode is applied.

1.
Press or on the operator panel several times until [MENUS] is displayed, and then press (OK).

Press or several times until [SYSTEM ADJUST] is displayed, and then press (OK).
3.
Press or several times to display [POW SAVE TIME], and then press (OK).
4.
Press or to select the transition time, and then press (OK).
Available transition time settings
[*] is added to the right end of the set value.
1 minute*
2 minutes,
3 minutes,
4 minutes,
5 minutes,
10 minutes,
15 minutes,
30 minutes,
60 minutes
* indicates the factory default setting.
5.
Press
(ONLINE) to switch to [READY TO PRINT].
Exiting Power Save Mode to Standby Status
1.
Press
(POWER SAVE) on the operator panel.
Memo
When the printer receives data from a computer or other devices, the printer returns to standby status.
