Transporting the Printer
Burns may result.
Do not touch the fuser, because it is very hot.
Note
Use extra care when handling the image drum (the green cylinder), because it is fragile.
Do not expose the image drum unit to direct sunlight or strong light (approximately 1,500 lux or more). Even under room lighting,
do not leave the image drum for 5 minutes or more.
1.
Turn the printer off.
2.
Remove all the cables.
Power cord and ground wire
LAN cable/USB cable
3.
Remove paper from a paper tray.
4.
Lift the printer, and then remove the second tray unit.
5.
Attach cushioning material to the printer.
Note
Use the packaging and cushioning material attached to the printer when purchased.
6.
Lift the printer, and then put it into the packaging.
