Setting Sleep Mode
When a set period of time elapses, the printer enters Sleep mode from Power Save mode. In Sleep mode, the status of the printer is
almost the same as when the printer is turned off.
Note
If an error has occurred, the printer does not enter Sleep mode.
If the wired network connection is switched to the wireless network connection, the machine does not enter Deep Sleep mode but
enters Sleep mode.
If the wireless network connection is switched to the wired network connection, the machine enters Deep Sleep mode.

1.
Press or on the operator panel several times until [MENUS] is displayed, and then press (OK).

Press or several times until [SYSTEM ADJUST] is displayed, and then press (OK).
3.
Press or several times until [SLEEP TIME] is displayed, and then press (OK).
4.
Press or to select the transition time, and then press (OK).
[*] is added to the right end of the set value.
Available transition time settings
1 minute*,
2 minutes,
3 minutes,
4 minutes,
5 minutes,
10 minutes,
15 minutes,
30 minutes,
60 minutes
* indicates the factory default setting.
5.
Press
(ONLINE) to switch to [READY TO PRINT].
