Command Summary
This section lists the NPAR commands in alphabetic order, and provides a
description of each.
-ainfo
(NPAR Adapter Information)
To view NPAR adapter information, issue the -ainfo command as follows:
> qaucli -npar -ainfo <adapter_inst>
Where
<adapter_inst>
is the adapter number displayed by the -ia
command.
-changepersonality
(Change PCI Function Personality)
To change a physical function's personality (see the
for a definition of
personality), issue the -changepersonality command as follows:
> qaucli -npar -changepersonality <func_inst> <personality>
Where:
<func_inst> is the physical function number displayed by the -if
command.
Specify one of the following for the <personality> parameter:
Specify nic
to change the personality type to NIC.
Specify iscsi
to change the personality type to iSCSI.
NOTE
For noninteractive command line options that have an equivalent interactive
menu command, the interactive command is shown in parentheses following
the noninteractive command. For example, the -ainfo command
described in this chapter has an equivalent NPAR Adapter Information
command described in
Chapter 11 Converged Network Adapter Interactive
Some noninteractive commands have no interactive menu command
equivalents.
