9.3.3 External Heat Roller Drive Control
9.3.3.1 Detached/Attached Mechanism of the External Heat Roller

The external heat roller has a built-in heater. At the time of warm-up, printing, or the last rotation, it's heated by contacting the fixing roller to support controll of
fixing temperature.
When it's standby, it is unlocked from the fixing roller to avoid heat-caused deformation of the fixing roller.
The external heat roller locks/unlocks against the fixing roller by the drive of the external heat detaching motor (M45) communicates the cam shaft.
For controlling locking/unlocking control of the external heat roller, home position is detected by the external heat detached HP sensor (PS66).
