Parameters
limit
: Maximum number of entries in the IPv6 multicast forwarding table. The value ranges from 0 to
512.
Description
Use the
multicast ipv6 forwarding-table route-limit
command to configure the maximum number of
entries in the IPv6 multicast forwarding table.
Use the
undo multicast ipv6 forwarding-table route-limit
command to restore the system default.
By default, the maximum number of entries in the IPv6 multicast forwarding table is the maximum
number allowed by the system, namely 512.

By default, load splitting of IPv6 multicast traffic is disabled.
