Description
Use the
mac-vlan enable
command to enable MAC address-based VLAN on a port.
Use the
undo mac-vlan enable
command to disable MAC address-based VLAN on a port.
By default, MAC address-based VLAN is disabled on a port.

# Enable MAC address-based VLAN on GigabitEthernet 2/0/1.

mask mac-mask
: Specifies a mask for the MAC address in the format of H-H-H. The
mac-mask
argument is comprised of the high-order part (all the binary bits of which are

s). By default, the hexadecimal digits of this argument are all

vlan vlan-id
: Specifies a VLAN ID, in the range of 1 to 4094.
