pse pse-id
: Specifies a PSE ID.
Description
Use the
poe legacy enable
command to enable the PSE to detect nonstandard PDs.
Use the
undo poe legacy enable
command to disable the PSE from detecting nonstandard PDs.
By default, the PSE is disabled from detecting nonstandard PDs.
Examples
# Enable PSE 7to detect nonstandard PDs.

Parameters
max-power
: Maximum power in milliwatts allocated to a PoE interface. The range of this argument
varies with devices.
Description
Use the
poe max-power
command to configure the maximum power for a PoE interface.
Use the
undo poe max-power
command to restore the default.
By default, the maximum power of the PoE interface is 15,400 milliwatts.

# Set the maximum power of Ethernet 2/0/1 to 12,000 milliwatts.
[Sysname] interface ethernet 2/0/1
[Sysname-Ethernet2/0/1] poe max-power 12000
# Set the maximum power of Ethernet 2/0/1 to 12,000 milliwatts through a PoE configuration file.
