Description
Use the
lldp enable
command to enable LLDP.
Use the
undo lldp enable
command to disable LLDP.
By default, LLDP is enabled at both the global and port levels.
Note that LLDP takes effect on a port only when it is enabled both globally and on the port.
Examples
# Disable LLDP on GigabitEthernet 2/0/3.

Description
Use the
lldp encapsulation
snap
command to configure the encapsulation format for LLDPDUs as
SNAP on a port or a group of ports.
Use the
undo lldp encapsulation
command to restore the default encapsulation format for LLDPDUs.
By default, Ethernet II encapsulation applies.
The command does not apply to LLDP-CDP packets, which use only SNAP encapsulation.
